The next Cheltenham Connections Daytime Concert may be the last

Cheltenham Connections Daytime Concerts have been concerts held at the Cheltenham Town Hall Pillar Room aimed at presenting good quality musical entertainment for those who may have difficulty attending evening events.

Disabled and older people are particularly welcome.

These concerts have been, until recently, booked to capacity every time by local Day Centres in the County and their service users and this has made the concerts self sustaining.
They are supported by Art Shape and while they have been popular over the last 20 years they never existed to make a profit. With the closure of many Day Centres the number of people attending the concerts has reduced considerably. If the numbers of attendees does not increase again sufficiently to sustain their existence this concert, in June, will be one of the last.

Organiser Peter Stone has already asked for a replacement to mentor so that he can retire and rightly so after 20 years of volunteering his time for such a worthy cause.

The next concert is on Friday, June 29th 2012 at Cheltenham Town Hall Pillar Room from 11.15 am - 1 pm and  features ‘The Cavern Legacy’…

A brilliant live tribute to the 60's Mersey sound.  They have appeared at the International Beatle Week music festival seven times and can be seen at a large number of 60's events across the UK.
Admission is only £6 and Carers are admitted FREE.
This really is a very special venue and show and it would be such a shame to see it end.

To book your place call Cheltenham Town Hall Box Office : 08445762210 or for all other enquiries ring Peter Stone on 01242-573034, e-mail pstone@sky.com or visit the website at www.cheltconnections.co.uk
