We say a big thank you and a sad goodbye to Peter Stone the organiser for over 20 years and a big hello to Sally Preece who will take over the organisation.
The Cheltenham Connections concert series
continues on Friday 22 February in the Pillar Room, Cheltenham Town Hall, with
ROCKology, Gloucestershire’s premier 60’s and 70’s rock hits band.
These concerts have been held in Cheltenham for the past 20 years and have been very
successful. They are arranged by Peter Stone in
association with Art Shape, a Gloucestershire charity that provides access to
the arts primarily for adults with learning difficulties.
This concert is the last that Peter will be
organising as he is retiring after many years of running Cheltenham
Connections. We would like to say a big
thank you to Peter for all his hard work – he will be very much missed and the
work he has put in has been invaluable for so many people in the county.
On a brighter note we also say hello to Sally
Preece who will be taking over the reigns for future concerts. We are delighted that Sally will be working
with us, she will bring her skills and experience as a project manager and
local musician to the concerts and we hope that we will continue to offer them
for years to come.
Tickets are priced at £6 and are free for carers,
available from the Cheltenham
Town Hall box office.
Doors open at 10:45am, the concert starts at 11:15am and finishes at 13.00pm. There are still tickets available and we need
your support to fill the remaining seats.
